6th Graders

Wednesdays • 6:30-7:45PM • CPC

We're excited to welcome 6th graders as part of Student Ministries! We gather on Wednesday nights for large group and small groups. Large group consists of worship, teaching from staff, and games—we want students to know they have FUN at church—then students gather in small groups led by high school IMPACT leaders. Throughout the year, students participate in service projects, Ruckus events, mission trips, and summer camps, all with the purpose of helping students love God and love others.

9th Graders

Wednesdays • 6:30-7:45PM • CPC

NEW THIS YEAR! Commitment Class is now under the umbrella of High School Minstry, providing us the opportunity to connect with high school students in a more comprehensive way. Commitment Class (CC) is the unique starting point for 9th graders to begin grounding their lives as followers of Jesus. Through times of teaching, community-building, and mentorship, students gain the knowledge to embrace their faith as their own. In addition to our weekly gatherings, students also take part in two retreats and a worship experience outside of CPC, as well as summer camps and mission opportunities.

 TEN12
10th-12th Graders

Wednesdays • 8:00-9:15PM • area homes
(plus one large-group meeting at CPC each month)

NEW THIS YEAR! High School Ministry now includes 9th graders, therefore programming for grades 10-12 (large group and house groups) will be called TEN12. Students from all around the southwestern suburbs are placed in different house groups that meet most Wednesday nights during the school year, enabling students to engage in community time and small-group Bible study. All of the houses gather together once a month for large-group worship and fun at CPC. We also have service projects, mission trips, and summer camps designed to help students build their faith and relationship with Jesus and connect with other high school students.

IMPACT is a way for 9th-12th graders in High School Ministry to serve others through their gifts and passions. There are two areas of focus: Community Service Teams (reach outward to community and church) and Student Service Teams (reach back to younger students and kids). Student Service Teams are now closed.
