Prayer is simply talking to God. But sometimes we’re not sure what we can—or can’t—say. Can we tell God that we’re angry? Can we say that we’re hurt? Yet the Psalms reveal prayers of raw, honest emotion—the words angry and joyful, mournful and thankful, desperate, and praise-filled. In our eight-week series on the Psalms, we’ll learn how we can present ourselves before God, exactly as we are. We’ll be reminded that when we talk to God, we can Say Anything.
To further your journey on discovering—or rediscovering—different ways you can talk to God, CPC pastors Melissa Schaser, Emily Hamilton, Petey Crowder, and James Madsen have written a study guide to accompany this sermon series.
