Mom's Morning Logo Final
Wednesdays • 9:30-11:15AM

A community welcoming all women on the journey of motherhood, from maternity to the early elementary years. The purpose of Mom’s Morning is to provide rest for mamas’ souls, encouragement in motherhood, and a deep hope in and renewal through Jesus Christ.

The Mom's Morning program runs from September-May on Wednesdays, 9:30-11:15AM. Our theme for this year is "Greater Hope."  It’s the one thing we all need right now.  We’re all seeking a greater hope than what’s around us and constantly flooding our feeds and minds.  Jesus is the only true source of lasting hope and the answer to the chaos all around us. Our desire is for you to feel the hope found only in Him this year and that you will carry this hope with you everywhere you go.

We have worked through scenarios for gathering (in-person, hybrid, online) to follow the safety guidelines set out by the CDC and the Minnesota Department of Health. Read the details of each program using the headings below.

Large Group Program - In Person
Kick-off: September 23

2nd & 4th Wednesdays • 9:30-11:15AM • Sanctuary
Our Large Group mornings give moms an opportunity to grow in their faith and roles as parents while connecting with other women. Mornings include faith-based speakers, fellowship, faith stories, and prayer. Moms will have the opportunity to attend in person once per month and participate virtually once per month, so that we can maximize the number of participants this year while limiting the number of people in the building at one time.

Large Group participants will be divided into two groups for in-person attendance purposes. Each group (A and B) will be at CPC for one Large Group each month. For the Large Group you don’t attend in person, you will have the option to Livestream the program or watch a recording. Participants who Livestream the program will also have the option to join a virtual break-out for discussion with other mamas.

Small groups will sit together for your assigned Large Group days. If you register for Large Group only, you will be grouped together with other Large Group only women.

Cost: $25/semester

Kickoff Speaker: Michelle Livingston, Area Director and Volunteer Engagement Manager, TreeHouse
TreeHouse—one of CPC’s local partners— is on a mission to end hopelessness among teens. Michelle will speak to us about finding hope in Jesus in the midst of our world that feels chaotic and out of control. Because all of us need hope now, more than ever.
Please note: Kids’ programming does not begin until September 30.

Small Group Program
Existing Small Groups Kick-off September 16 • New Small Groups Launch October 7

Please note: Kids’ programming does not begin until September 30.

1st, 3rd, & 5th Wednesdays • 9:30-11:15AM
Small groups are for those craving a relationship with Jesus that is real and personal. Join other women of Mom’s Morning who desire a small community where it’s safe to ask questions and be honest about life’s challenges. Our small groups allow you to develop meaningful relationships through Bible study, prayer, fellowship, and support centered in Christ.

Small Group participants will be divided into two groups for in-person attendance purposes. Each group (A and B) will be at CPC for one Small Group each month. Zoom technology is available in each small group room for moms who may need to participate as remote attendees.

We encourage small groups to meet an additional time each month outside of CPC.

Cost: Varies based on Bible study materials.

Kids’ Programming for 6 weeks-PreK
Kick-off: September 30

Drop-off begins at 9:15AM
Mom’s Morning offers infant care and kids’ programming for kids ages 6 weeks-preschool. Infants receive personal care in a safe and nurturing environment. Toddlers and preschoolers experience fun and learning that is centered around interactive Bible stories, songs, silly games, and other engaging activities.  Kids will be taught and cared for by consistent CPC staff/caregivers—moms will not volunteer in classrooms this year to reduce exposure.

Cost: $25/child per semester for each program

Our Commitment to a Safe Environment
We’re doing everything we can to maintain a clean and safe environment for the kids and caregivers in our Kids’ spaces. Here’s what you can expect:

  • Temperature checks for moms, caregivers, and staff
  • Masks required for staff and caregivers
  • Limited classroom capacity
  • Kids grouped to minimize exposure (by small group; siblings will be grouped together)
  • Frequent hand washing/hand sanitizing, based on activity
  • Enhanced cleaning and disinfecting protocols for toys and all spaces
  • Kids snacks given individually
NEW! Study Buddies Program for K-5th Grade
Kick-off: September 30

Do you have elementary students home on Wednesdays and they need a place to go while you’re at Mom’s Morning?  Bring them to CPC with you, where all Study Buddies can complete their assignments with adult supervision/help, as well as have a snack break and time to be physically active. A dedicated table-top space with ample distancing for each kid is available.

Cost: $25/child per semester for each program

Our Commitment to a Safe Environment
We’re doing everything we can to maintain a clean and safe environment for the kids and caregivers in our Kids’ spaces. Here’s what you can expect:

  • Temperature checks and hand sanitizer for kids before entering the Kids’ area
  • Temperature checks for moms, caregivers, and staff
  • Masks required for everyone kindergarten-age and older, including staff and caregivers
  • Frequent hand washing/hand sanitizing, based on activity
  • Enhanced cleaning and disinfecting protocols
  • Limited classroom capacity
What Safety Precautions is CPC Taking?
  • CPC Kids’ Ministries staff is working hard to hire enough staff so moms will NOT need to volunteer in kids’ programming this year. This will help reduce exposure amongst moms and kids by having consistent staffing for the kids’ program.
  • Temperature checks for staff, moms, and kids as they enter the building.
  • All adults are required to wear masks while inside CPC’s building.
  • Mom’s Morning has been moved to the Sanctuary to allow for better social distancing. The Sanctuary’s air ventilation is always running; per recommendations, we have increased the outdoor airflow coming into the building.
  • We will divide Mom’s Morning participants (adults and kids) into two groups. Each group will participate in-person once a month in order to limit the number of people in the building at one time. This is true for both Small Group and Large Group programs.
  • We have made a virtual-only Large Group available for those who are unable or uncomfortable attending in-person. This option should also be used on your assigned day if you or your kids are feeling sick (or have been exposed to someone who is or has been sick).

Additional precautions for Kids:

  • Temperature checks and hand sanitizer for kids before entering the Kids’ area
  • Temperature checks for moms, caregivers, and staff
  • Masks required for everyone kindergarten-age and older, including staff and caregivers
