KIDS KLOSET
Mission | Kids Kloset is a second-hand store for children’s clothing, books, and toys. It is located in Calvary Church in the Whittier neighborhood of South Minneapolis. The mission of the store is to serve families with very low-cost, gently-used clothing, and to introduce these families to other ministries of Calvary Church. Proceeds from the store support INSTEP, a childcare program of the Jabbok Foundation for low-income families who are working to become economically independent. The store is open on Saturdays from 9:00AM-12:00PM. Calvary Church is located at 2608 Blaisdell Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN 55408
Donation Team | The mission of the Donations Team is to serve Kids Kloset through the pick up, sorting, and delivery of donations to the Kids Kloset Store. Pick up dates and locations are scheduled periodically throughout the year.

Store Volunteers |
Kids Kloset Store volunteers help customers and sort clothing, books, and toys. There is always an experienced store manager in the store to manage the cash box and provide support and guidance to volunteers.
Volunteers are needed Saturdays from 9:00AM-12:00PM. This is a great opportunity to serve with your children (kids as young as 8 are welcome to serve with one or both parents).

Store Set-Up Operations |
The mission of the Store Set-Up Team is to prepare the store for sale days by re-stocking clothing and toys during non-business hours. The team generally works one session per month. This ministry also implements semi-annual seasonal clothing changes. For more information, please contact Michelle Kranendonk at 952.937.2141 or michellek122@gmail.com.
Store Leadership |
Kids Kloset Store offers a variety of leadership opportunities. The Team consists of the following leaders: Team Coordinators, Financial Coordinator, Store Set-Up Coordinator, Marketing Coordinator, and Special Events Coordinator. Deacon committees lead the Volunteer and Donations functions. The team meets periodically to manage and make decisions for the future of the store. We invite and welcome volunteers to become leaders in this vital urban ministry.
