At the heart of CPC Urban and Local Missional Engagement is the understanding that people matter to God, and that to reach them with the love of Christ, you have to go where they live. CPC believes that we are called to partner with the communities and churches of the Whittier, Phillips, Hawthorne, and Jordan neighborhoods of Minneapolis. CPC seeks to serve and partner in ways that bring transformation to both these communities and to CPCers, a transformation that begins with a conscious decision to use our gifts and talents in service. It is in the act of service that we begin to understand what it means to be followers of Jesus by building hope in our community.
