MISSION
TreeHouse is a Christian-based nonprofit organization whose purpose is to bring hope to hurting youth and families, leading to life transformation. TreeHouse provides a safe place for over 1,300 at-risk youth in the Twin Cities’ West Metro who are experiencing difficulties at home, in school, or in their communities. TreeHouse helps youth to grow by combining long-term caring relationships with a year-round balanced program. Their corporate office is located at 5666 Lincoln Drive, Suite 201, Edina, MN 55436.
TREEHOUSE HOME IMPROVEMENT VOLUNTEERS
TreeHouse's seven metro area locations are in need of volunteers to help maintain grounds and facilities. Volunteers are needed on both weekdays and weekends in Bloomington, Brooklyn Park, Chaska, Minnetonka, New Hope, Plymouth, or St. Louis Park.
Group projects are also available for teams of 2–25 teens and/or adults at multiple locations. Group projects may include interior or exterior painting, landscaping, yard work, general cleaning, and one-time special projects.

TREEHOUSE VOLUNTEER HOST
TreeHouse is in search of several individuals or couples that are willing to serve as a volunteer host to scheduled home improvement groups. The volunteer host is responsible for opening up the facility on the scheduled day, gathering release forms from participants, coordinating lunch or a snack for the group, sharing the TreeHouse promotional video with the group, and closing the facility when the group has completed their assigned tasks. This opportunity is ideal for a retired individual or couple.

TREEHOUSE DIRECT-SERVICE VOLUNTEER
- Support Group Volunteers are needed at all seven TreeHouse locations. Serving as a Support Group Volunteer is a great way to invest in the lives of TreeHouse participants. Support Group meets on Tuesday evenings from 6:30-10:00PM year round. Volunteers serve as group facilitators or co-facilitators and focus on developing connections with the youth that attend Support Groups.
- Going Deeper Volunteers are also needed for the Thursday night 6:30-10:00PM program. Going Deeper meets on Thursday evenings year round and is very similar to a youth program. Volunteers focus on developing connections with the youth as well as assisting with program components such as games, small groups, etc.
Volunteers are asked to make a minimum volunteer commitment of 12 months in order to establish meaningful connections with teens.

TREEHOUSE RECEPTIONIST VOLUNTEER
TreeHouse's corporate office in Edina is in need of friendly individuals to serve as our receptionist. Volunteers will answer and direct phones calls, greet visitors, and assist with incoming and outgoing mail. Volunteers are needed weekdays between 8:30AM-5:00PM. Multiple shifts and training is available.

TREEHOUSE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BOARD MEMBERS
In 2007, staff and board members made the decision to begin a Community Development Initiative and to shed TreeHouse's title as "the best kept secret in town." TreeHouse believes that communities do make a difference and thus has formed a Community Development Board in each community TreeHouse is located. Each board is comprised of members from various groups within their community. A board member is asked to bring his or her own network of people to learn more about TreeHouse at one-hour Story of Hope events that take place periodically at the seven TreeHouse locations.
For more information, please contact Lisa Stordahl at 952.238.1010 or lstordahl@treehouseyouth.org.
TREEHOUSE DONATION DRIVE COORDINATORS
Volunteers are needed to organize and coordinate a donation drive for their local TreeHouse. Donation needs are unique to each TreeHouse, but examples of common items include toilet paper, paper towels, light bulbs, mulch, gift cards for gas and one-to-one mentoring, and snacks and bottled water for trips and activities. As a donation drive coordinator you are provided with a list of needs and fliers to distribute to potential donors and are then asked to return donations to the specified TreeHouse location. This volunteer opportunity is ideal for civic groups, small businesses, and church youth groups.

TREEHOUSE MEAL HOST
Meals provide an opportunity for relationships to grow and allow TreeHouse youth a chance to have a “family meal” with other youth and staff. Use your cooking skills to cook and serve a meal to TreeHouse youth. Teens (16 and older) through adults can prepare a healthy balanced meal for a group of TreeHouse youth and staff for them to enjoy together before program begins (Tuesday and Thursday nights at 5:30PM). TreeHouse provides the kitchen and Meal Hosts will need to provide all the food and supplies, as well as cooking the meal.
If you are unable to come on Tuesdays or Thursdays but enjoy cooking, another option is to make a meal that can be frozen and store it at TreeHouse for the staff to cook. A frozen meal must be clearly labeled and come with instructions on how to prepare.

TREEHOUSE EVENTS VOLUNTEER
Volunteers are needed to help plan and execute the special events that take place throughout the year. Events (including a golf tournament, a sporting clays event, a women’s luncheon, etc.) require the assistance of volunteers from start to finish. Be involved in the planning committee or contribute by using your specific skills in areas such as creating the registration and welcome process, planning the program, auction and fundraising methods, event theme and logistical planning, marketing and promotion, and event follow-up.
