Barnabas Fund

MISSION

The Barnabas Fund exists as a resource for members who are experiencing financial hardship due to job loss, health crisis, or other unforeseen events. The primary focus is assisting members with “quality of life” needs, such as mortgage/rent, food, and other basic needs to get back on their feet. Members may submit an application, which is held in strict confidence by the administering pastors and Deacons, by contacting Pastor Mike Hotz (952.920.8515 x210 or mikeh@cpconline.org).
Assistance is granted based upon ability to provide real relief and currently available resources.

DONATE

If you are not in need, perhaps you are in a position to help others who are. The Barnabas Fund monies do not come from the church budget, but rather are all donations designated for that purpose. If you would like to help bolster this fund, you may send your donation to David Peterson in the church office.

ASSIST OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS

In addition to financial help, there are other ways you may be able to encourage and assist our brothers and sisters in need. Are you a professional in the social service sector? Are you a licensed counselor? Are you a legal or financial professional with knowledge about bankruptcy and credit resolution? We would like to assemble a team of such professionals that our pastors can call on when particular needs arise in our congregation. By expressing interest, you are not committing to any specific volunteer service, but are simply identifying yourself as a potential future resource, should a need arise pertaining to your area of expertise.
