BANYAN FOUNDATION HIGH SCHOOL TUTOR
Interested in serving urban high school students??
The Banyan Community needs a total of four adults (two for Mondays and two for Wednesdays) that are interested in tutoring urban high school students. Students come to the Banyan Center from 7:00-8:30PM for required tutoring sessions. Banyan staff members provide the structure and discipline, volunteers provide the encouragement and problem solving! Particular need is for people with backgrounds in math and science (algebra, geometry, calculus, physical science, biology, and chemistry). Come solve problems with us!
A year long commitment is requested. Contact joani@banyancommunity.org for an application and job description. All volunteers will need to apply, complete background checks, and complete interview/training session. Thank you!

Sometimes we have events that need extra people to help. If you are someone that would like to be on our on-call list, then please send us your name and we will contact you to see if you are available for special events.

Banyan needs one person from CPC to join the Banyan Board. We are seeking people that affirm the Banyan mission and who have skills and experience in Human Resources, Financial Management, or Development.
