Grief Recovery

The mission of CPC's Grief Recovery Ministry is to provide comfort and help to those who mourn a loss through death. We do this in coordination with the CPC pastors.

GRIEF RECOVERY GROUP (September - May)
Second Tuesday of the month, 6:00-8:00PM in the CPC Parlor

The Grief Recovery Group (part of Lay Care Ministry) ministers to those moving through the grief process after experiencing the death of a loved one. God's hope and healing is sought through speakers, group interaction, and prayer. Grief Recovery also provides support to families during funerals. Dinner is served each week.

Reservations are requested. Please call Barb Sorum at 952.941.3265.

EDINA COALITION FOR GRIEF SUPPORT
Thursdays, 4:30-6:00PM at area churches

There are nine Edina churches, of which CPC is one, who work together to provide support and education through a group format geared to circumstances of grief. The Edina Coalition for Grief Support meets Thursdays from 4:30-6:00PM at one of the nine participating Edina churches.

The Coalition provides a safe, non-threatening environment where people may share and understand feelings of grief and subsequently move on with their lives.

Visit
www.EdinaGriefSupport.org for more information and the meeting/location schedule.
